Soot Guard
Multifunctional active ingredient for oil stoves with ferrocene-based combustion improver
ERC Soot Guard ensures a permanently stable flame and soot-free, economical and environmentally friendly combustion of heating oil in oil stoves.
The Effect
Soot is generally not a problem in modern oil heating systems, except in oil stoves, where it can cause high follow-up costs. According to a rule of thumb, a 1 mm thick layer of soot on the boiler wall inhibits the transfer of heat to the heating water to such an extent that the heating oil consumption increases by approx. 4% while the heat requirement remains the same. The main cause of soot is poor and incomplete combustion of the heating oil because it is low in oxygen. ERC Soot Guard provides a remedy. It is simply added to the heating oil.
The Result
ERC Soot Guard unfolds its catalytic effect in the flame and restores the optimum soot-free state. Consumption and costs are reduced and the environment is also less polluted. ERC Soot Guard not only works in the flame. At the same time, existing deposits on the boiler walls are broken down by ERC Soot Guard.

Available in container size of 1 litre!
Oil stoves with chimney connection (not permitted for use in condensing boilers) Immediate cleaning: Spread Soot Guard directly into the burner pot and on the walls of the cold oil stove. Then run clean at the highest heating level. Continuous cleaning: Caution! Continuous optimisation of combustion by adding to the heating oil. Contains ash formers to optimise combustion in oil stoves. Dosage: 1 litre of Soot Guard for approx. 2000 litres of heating oil.
